Brooklyn is one of our favorite places to work. This project required that we rig two water tanks (TIGG water vessels) into a basement of a building that was being constructed in Brooklyn. We received delivery of the tanks to our yard where we stored them until they needed to be loaded on trucks and brought to the job-site. Each tank weighed 15,000 pounds.
We had to use a 100 Ton crane to lift the tanks off of our low boy trailers. We then needed to hoist the units on their sides and use an auxiliary wench and rigging techniques to flip them upright and set them in place. The job took three hours and we were happy that the weather was clear and enjoyable to work in, not to mention safer.
