We recently had to store and move a generator. It weighed 30,000 lbs and was 36ft long by 12ft high by 8ft wide.
First we had to pick it up with a crane and bring it to our storage yard. Then we had to deliver it to the job site. There are pictures below of us rigging it into place for our customer. We used a crane and then we had to rig into place with jacks and skates.
We had to jack it over the concrete pads and pull with come a long to move it to the final spot.
